About Housing

OPTION 1: ARRANGING YOUR OWN HOUSING
We believe the choice of housing is best left to the incoming student so each person may select what suits them personally. When arranging your accommodation, however, we strongly recommend that it be located in the old town of Paroikia, close to the Aegean Center. We consider this proximity important for convenience and for fully experiencing the island’s historic atmosphere. Because our courses are scheduled outside the peak tourist season, a wide range of lodging options is typically available. There are numerous online resources for finding accommodation, including short-term rental platforms. We will also provide a selection of trusted housing recommendations close to the school as part of your acceptance materials.

OPTION 2: THE AEGEAN CENTER PROVIDES HOUSING
With this option the Center arranges housing through a longtime association with a small hotel only a two‑minute walk from the Center. The hotel, Captain Manolis, is a simple and basic one-room family‑run establishment that students like because of its close proximity to the Center, making it a very convenient choice. You can literally get to your room from the studios in two minutes. The rooms do not have a kitchen.

IMPORTANT: COST OF THIS ACCOMMODATION WILL VARY AND BE ADJUSTED ACCORDINGLY. The current cost of this option will be noted in the acceptance material. The Center receives no commission or other recompense from this arrangement.
