About Aegean Center Housing OPTION

OPTION 1: ARRANGING YOUR OWN HOUSING
We feel the decision of housing is best made by the incoming student to choose what best suits them. When organizing your housing however we highly recommended it is located in the old town of Paroikia close to the Aegean Center. We feel this is important. Also if you are attending the combined Drawing and Painting program the duration of the course is 36 days. In this case you must include the six day break between the two courses when making arrangements for your stay. This break gives students an opportunity to visit other parts of Greece, other European destinations or simply stay in Paros to explore the island with continued open access to the Aegean Center. Because our courses do not take place during peak tourist season many choices for lodging will be available. There are many online options for finding housing such as airbnb. We will provide a few recommendations of trusted housing options close to the school in the acceptance material.

OPTION 2: THE AEGEAN CENTER PROVIDES HOUSING
With this option the Center arranges housing through a longtime association with a small hotel only a two minute walk from the Center. The name of the hotel is Captain Manolis. It is a comfortable basic hotel loved by many students due to its close proximity to the Center which makes it a considerable convenience as well. You can literally nip over to your room from the Center in two minutes. Here is the link to the hotel: Captain Manolis. The Center receives no commission or recompense through this arrangement. IMPORTANT: COST OF THIS ACCOMMODATION WILL VARY AND ADJUSTED ACCORDINGLY. The current cost of this option will be noted in the acceptance material.
