About Aegean Center Housing

OPTION 1: ARRANGING YOUR OWN HOUSING
We have learned the decision of housing is very often best made by the incoming student to choose what best suits them. If you are organizing and booking your own accommodation for the duration of your study period for your convenience it is recommended that your housing is located in the town of Paroikia where the school is situated… the closer the better. If you are attending the combined Drawing and Oil Painting the duration of the course is 36 days. Please note you must include the six day break between the two courses. This break will give students an opportunity to visit other parts of Greece, other European destinations, or you may choose to stay in Paros to explore the island with continued open access to the Center. If you want to explore the idea of traveling off the island during the break we will be happy to help you plan an itinerary...what immediately comes to mind is a journey to a few great museums. You should also consider such a journey at the conclusion of your time with us here at the Center. Again because our courses do not take place during peak tourist season many choices for lodging will be available. There are many online options for finding and booking your housing such as airbnb. We will provide a few recommendations of trusted housing accommodations close to the school.

OPTION 2: THE AEGEAN CENTER PROVIDES HOUSING
With this option the Center provides and arranges housing. This is through an arrangement with a longtime association of a small hotel literally a one minute walk from the Center. The name of the hotel is Captain Manolis. The hotel is a pleasant and comfortable basic hotel loved by many students due to its very close proximity to the Center which makes it a considerable convenience. You can literally nip over to your room from the Center in two minutes. This is the link to the hotel: Captain Manolis.
